Worked out this little trick while trying to save an email (from MailChimp) into a single page PDF using Adobe Acrobat.

There’s a handy feature called Create PDF from Web Page in Adobe Acrobat:

However by default it will create a PDF that’s split up into separate pages (either A4 or Letter depending on your settings).

There is however a settings option for this feaure that allows you to manually define the page height:

Head to the Page Layout tab:

It’s a bit of a trail and error process to get the correct height for your web page content but ultimately it works and keeps all of your links in tact.

If only it could automatically detect the page height for you!

  • I just hope that there is an inbuilt feature for doing this or else things would get complicated for them. We can see how this has affected them as it is very important for their work.
